Dr. Maurice S. Mathis Guild Luncheon

The Dr. Maurice S. Mathis Guild will present its annual luncheon to support Harrison Medical Center on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Kitsap Golf & Country Club in Bremerton.

On December 26 Harrison "flipped the switch" giving patients on both campuses access to the soothing sights and sound of The C.A.R.E. Channel. The C.A.R.E. Channel features 24-hour relaxation programming combining stunning nature imagery and original instrumental music; including unique night-time programming that assists patients with sleep. Whether day or night, the evidence-based programming has been shown to support a healing environment, including the promotion of restfulness and sleep, a reduction in noise and stress, and an improvement in both patient and staff satisfaction. This gift to our patients was made possible by the Maurice S. Mathis Guild through the Harrison Foundation, the result of fundraising proceeds from their 2011 luncheon.
