BLS for Healthcare Providers

This course follows the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines for adult, child, and infant CPR, management of foreign-body airway obstruction, ventilation with a barrier device as well as a bag-mask and use of the AED.

A written evaluation is given and a Healthcare Provider card issued after successful

completion of the course. This class is prerequisite to ACLS, PALS, NRP Provider and BLS Instructor courses.

Required reading: AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers, 2011 edition, $12
It is recommended that you become familiar with this material prior to class in order to successfully complete the written evaluation and skills stations.

Course fee: $40 (does not include book)
