The week of Aug. 9 through 13, Harrison welcomed a team of Joint Commission surveyors who conducted an accreditation survey. This occurs every three years. Our participation in this demanding review process is part of our commitment to the highest standards of patient care.

New dads get some direction
How you care for your child from the very first day will build the foundation for your relationship. Learn how to care for and nurture your family’s newest little life by attending Harrison’s free Conscious Fathering class.

Participants will learn about a father’s important role in cognitive and behavioral development and get an overview of an infant’s developmental milestones. They also learn how to respond to an infant’s crying—and how to handle their own frustration when the crying becomes prolonged. Classes are limited to 11 students, so every dad can hold, feed, and diaper a lifelike training doll.
