Social Work
Harrison's Social Work Department plays a pivotal role in smoothing the patient's transition from hospital to home. Our staff works with families, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to analyze each unique situation.
Staff expertise covers home health care, nursing home placement, counseling and financial assistance. Social workers also provide ongoing guidance to regional initiatives addressing domestic violence, sexual abuse, child neglect, and other community problems.
