Violet E. Carlson Memorial Guild

The newest chapter of the Harrison Medical Center Foundation, the Violet E. Carlson Memorial Guild, had its first meeting in January 2012. The Guild was named in honor and loving memory of Violet E. Carlson who devoted herself to her family and volunteered tirelessly in the community. The respect and appreciation for the care that Robert Carlson (Violet’s husband) received at Harrison Hospital would inspire several members of the family, including Violet and her daughters to become active with the Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees. The Guild is continuing the spirit of the Harrison Medical Center’s Festival of Trees by using the mini-tree idea as the driver for fundraising activities of the guild.

The Guild looks forward to increasing its membership – new members are always welcome.
